I encourage all staff employees to “Lead the Way” by participating in UCSF’s fourth employee opinion survey. This year the survey will be conducted online through May 2, 2008 and will focus on the issues that were considered most important to employees in earlier surveys. For a list of survey ambassadors and additional details regarding the survey, please consult http://staffsurvey.ucsf.edu.
The survey not only provides an outlet for the many members of the staff community to express their opinions candidly and confidentially, but also serves as a tool for campus administrators to assess the level of progress since the last survey. Campus leadership remains dedicated to promoting an environment that enhances and supports work-life at UCSF. Your input is critical.
This initiative is led by the Chancellor’s Council on Staff Worklife. The council represents a cross section of the UCSF community and is responsible for reporting the results of the survey to campus leadership. Please contact your council representative if you have suggestions or questions.
Managers are asked either to provide the necessary computer access to their employees or to contact their survey ambassador for information regarding paper survey options.
I urge you to express your perspectives on a full range of work-life topics. Your participation in this important endeavor is greatly appreciated.
